Over the years the cooperation with IEEE was realized in different forms, but it became alway closer. For example 2004 in Aachen (Germany) the CIPS was integrated into the PESC2004. Two years later it was organized in Naples (Italy) in connection with ISPSD 2006.
Since 2010, CIPS is a IEEE sponsored conference. All accepted papers are avaible in IEEE Xplore.
