ICM - International Congress Center Munich
The WC2009 will take place at the ICM (International Congress Center Munich) which is
is one of the most modern congress centers in the world. Due to its prestigious and inviting atmosphere and its excellent technical infrastructure, the ICM satisfies all the prerequisites that make a modern congress center both efficient and convenient for events of any size. Featuring all the state-of-the-art equipment needed for presentations, the ICM is an ideal place for a scientific congress such as the WC2009.
One of the ICM's unique selling points is its location near the center of Munich – the famed "City with Heart" that does a perfect job of combining the professionalism of a commercial, media and research center with culture and hospitality.
Business Center
At the main foyer of the ICM a business center is on service daily from 9 a.m- 5 p.m. Phone, fax, internet access, printing services an WiFi access are available.

Transportation
by air: The airport of the Bavarian capital is the second largest international airport in Germany. It is located 28km northeast of the city center and offers both bus and train connections. For details on how to reach the city please see www.munich-airport.de.
Direct taxi rides from the airport to the ICM are offered at a fix rate (51 EUR - May 2008).
by train: The Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) is located in the center of Munich, only approx. 2km from the central square (Marienplatz). More than 800 long-distance trains and regional trains arrive and depart every day. Connection to the ICM via Underground U2 (approx. 20 min) or by taxi.
by car: if you travel to Munich by car, signs throughout the greater Munich area will guide you to the ICM Center .

Parking:
The ICM has ample parking for exhibitors and visitors. The parking areas at the outdoor exhibition sites and in the Car Park West open two hours before the beginning of most events and close two hours after the end of the event. Fee for single entry/Day Parking:
