The Young Forum BMT addresses its initiative to students, doctoral candidates and young professionals interested in Biomedical Engineering and cordially invites them to take part in an exchange of information.

Guided tour of the Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT)
Laboratory visit of the IPHT and project presentations in the field of biomedical technology.

TUTORIAL AND WORKSHOP
“Presenting and communicating – truly professional”
Apart from teaching the basic principles of rhetoric and communication, an introduction will be given into the content and graphic design of scientific posters by means of practical examples.

PANEL DISCUSSION
“Degree in BMT – what now?”
BMT graduates working in industry and science talk about their careers and discuss goals, experiences and career opportunities.

From 17 to 19 September 2012 the Young Forum BMT will present itself together with the DGBMT in the VDE e.V. and the VDE YoungNet at the trade exhibition of the 46th DGBMT annual conference.
Get informed interactively about the opportunities for studying BMT and the requirements for BMT graduates. During the conference there will also be a session together with the expert committee “Training and further education- BMT in your studies”. Young researchers discuss with experienced scientists on their practical experience (see regular conference programme).
