Located in the south west of Germany – 170 kilometres from Munich the capital city of Bavaria, Nuremberg is popularly seen as an example of a city which is rich in Germanic culture and imperial history. This year's EUSAR 2012 will be held at CCN Congress Centre Nuremberg which has the capacity of 11,000 seats.
Means of transportation in Nuremberg are top-class transportation network where it provides a dynamic transportation system for the visitors so that they will never encounter any problem in getting to their destinations. Visitors traveling by plane can make the nearest airport which is Nuremberg International Airport as their stop in Germany. Besides Frankfurt International Airport, they can also stop in Munich International Airport and from there take a Deutsche Bahn train to Nuremberg Main Train Station (Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof) which only takes about 2 hours. There is nothing to worry for those travelling by car because the city is surrounded by a network of motorways connecting it to all directions in Germany.
