Instructions for Final Paper Submission

CAMERA-READY SUBMISSION: MAY 15, 2018

Please goto   for final submission.

The final paper submission is ready. Please take the comments by the reviewers carefully into account when preparing the camera-ready paper for the proceedings. Note that the paper will be published in the Conference proceedings only if the camera ready version is uploaded until May 15th, 2018.

Please follow strictly the author instructions of Springer-Verlag, when preparing the final version:

In addition, please note that the final version is expected to correspond in length and contents to the original submission, except for parts that might be added or modified to address the reviewers’ comments. It is considered unethical to shorten or otherwise alter the final version in ways that make it significantly different than what was reviewed and accepted.

You should submit your paper using your EasyChair proceedings author role for IAS-15.

1. FINAL PAPER: Please submit the files belonging to your camera-ready paper using your EasyChair author account. Follow the instructions after the login for uploading two files:

  (1) either a zipped file containing all your LaTeX sources and images (any image format is suitable, the paper template is the one provided for the initial submission) or a Word file in the RTF format, and

  (2) the PDF version of your camera-ready paper

Our publisher has recently introduced an extra control loop: once data processing is finished, they will contact all corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers. We expect this to happen shortly before the printing of the proceedings. At that time your quick interaction with Springer-Verlag will be greatly appreciated.

2. COPYRIGHT: Please upload a signed and completed copyright form to us as soon as possible.

->Download the Springer Copyright Form (or Version)

It is sufficient for one of the authors to sign the copyright form. You can scan the form into PDF or any other standard image format. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in these matters. Thank you again for your contribution to IAS-15.

Paper Submission

Papers submitted to the 15th Intelligent Autonomous Systems conference must describe original research. Submitted papers have been single-blind peer-reviewed; the IEEE anti-plagiarism policy will be applied in the review process. Regarding overlap with works previously published by the same authors, the IEEE policy will be applied: “For submissions that have overlaps with previously published papers by the same authors (or with papers simultaneously submitted elsewhere), the IEEE rules are that the submission should cite the prior work, and clearly state how the submitted work is different from the previous publication or simultaneous submission. We don’t have hard and fast rules for how much overlap with prior publications is too much. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 35% or more (of previously-published material) is a rough limit, although each submission has to be judged on its own merit. Note that overlaps with prior workshop papers (by the same authors) are usually not considered problematic, since IEEE supports the evolutionary publication paradigm of workshop papers being improved to conference papers, which are then improved to journal papers.”

Submitted papers should be no longer than 12 pages; additional 6 pages are allowed at an extra cost of 50 EUR per page. Papers exceeding 12+6 pages could be rejected without review.

Papers must be prepared according the following guidelines:
