We meet in front of restaurant Maredo nearby the metro station St. Pauli (U3, yellow line, exit towards Millerntorplatz, turn to the right and cross the road).

After a brief overview of St. Pauli´s history we walk along the Dancing Towers to the banks of the river Elbe. There we have a fantastic view over the harbour.
We see the Landing Bridges and the Old Elbtunnel and then we reach the brewer quarter.
After that we enter the red light district, the Hans-Albers place, the famous boxing bar Ritze, Gorsse Freiheit, Schmuckstraße, Talstraße and finally we get to the smallest police Station in Germany, the Davidwache.
We finish on Spielbudenplatz, where you can find some containers which are used as bars. There we can have an after-tour-drink if you want to.
