ICPT 2012 will be held at the Minatec conference center in Grenoble, France, during October 15 – 17. Minatec is located in close neighborhood to CEA-Leti, the renowned French microelectronics R&D center.

The scope of the conference is to bring together colleagues from the equipment and materials manufacturers, the semiconductor industry and the research and university institutes with CMP experts from all over the world for the exchange of information of state-of-the-art research in CMP technology. ICPT 2012 provides a forum for sharing latest results, for discussing new ideas or daily problems, and, last but not least, to meet new colleagues and long-time friends.

It is a great pleasure to invite you to attend the International Conference on Planarization/CMP Technology 2012, taking place in Grenoble, France. After very successful conferences in the US and in Asia in recent years, it’s time again to welcome you in Europe. Grenoble, located at the entrance to the beautiful French Alps, is one of the large microelectronics centres in Europe with well-known names like STMicroelectronics and the CEA-Leti research institute.

This interplay between industry, R&D and academia makes Grenoble a very attractive place to host ICPT 2012 and to bring together CMP experts from all over the world. ICPT 2012 will provide a forum for high-level conference papers together with opportunities for discussion, communication, networking and meeting old and new CMP colleagues. A table-top exhibition allows equipment and materials suppliers to present their latest products and get in close contact with their customers. Are there better arguments than the combination of scientific and technical exchange with French hospitality and its excellent food and famous wines to travel to France and attend ICPT 2012?
