In 1808, Napoleon was here and organized the “Prince Congress,” which was the focus of world politics. In front of him, Tsar Alexander I and a "floor of kings" attended a brilliant performance of the Comédie-Française. Before the Gala Dinner, a one-hour guided City tour in Erfurt will take place.
City Tour Weimar
Thursday, August 29
In Weimar, we will organize a guided City tour through the "Classical Weimar" with subsequent dinner. The World Heritage Committee designated this ensemble of buildings as being one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The Weimar Classic age coincided with the peak of German national literature (around 1800) when Goethe
and Schiller lived and worked in this beautiful town.
