REGULAR PAPERS
A regular paper is a technical manuscript of approximately 5500 words with up to 6 pages including diagrams, figures or charts. Full paper is required in the initial submission with the author and affiliation information removed. Papers accepted with required changes need to be reviewed again, and revisions addressing the reviewers’ comments are necessary before they can be finally accepted. Final papers will be published in the Symposium CD Digest that will be provided to all attendees, and will be archived in the IEEE Xplore. At the symposium, papers will be presented in a 20-minute oral briefing with charts from a digital projector & computer (using MS PowerPoint or Adobe PDF) or in an open forum as poster papers. All the regular papers will be eligible for the symposium Best Paper Award contest.
REGULAR PAPER TEMPLATE
The template files to be used for all paper submissions can be found here:
IEEE - Manuscript Templates
STUDENT PAPER
Graduate and undergraduate authors of regular papers are also eligible for the Best Student Paper contest. The student must be the primary author and should indicate they wish to be considered for the contest when submitting the preliminary manuscript. Each student’s professor will be asked to certify that the paper is primarily the work of the student.
